Why? Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

How does Sound Community Bank protect my personal information?
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who have a business reason to know such information. We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality.
How does Sound Community Bank collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • open an account
  • deposit money
  • apply for a loan
  • provide account information
  • use your debit card

We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

Why can't I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes - information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

SCB Mobile Privacy Policy

For your convenience and security, Sound Community Bank makes available a mobile application for you to access your account information (“Sound Community Bank Mobile”). SCB Mobile may ask for access to your camera and location. Camera access is required when using Mobile Deposit and location may be used for providing branch and ATM information, for security purposes and to identify when you may be at one of our branches or other locations. While using SCB Mobile, we may collect information such as unique device identifiers for your mobile device and other device settings, information about your location, and analytical information about how you use your mobile device. We may ask your permission before collecting certain information (such as precise geo-location information) through SCB Mobile.
